New Offerings for Wine-Loving Related Residents from Community Wine & Spirits
Take your love of quality wines to the next level with two new offerings from Related and Community Wine & Spirits, a New York City wine shop that goes beyond selling bottles and focuses on truly experiencing wine through on-site experts and unique events. Related Wine School
Related Wine School’s tasting events, led by Community Wine & Spirits Beverage Director Ben Bohen, offer Related residents an engaging, in-person wine education experience. The next class (Wednesday, March 4, 6:30 PM; RSVP here) focuses on France, with Bohen guiding attendees through seven wines from major French wine regions. Take a tasting trip through the Loire Valley, Burgundy, and Bordeaux to learn all about France’s colorful wine lore—from terroir to grape varietals to monks.
April’s class (Wednesday, April 1, 6:30 PM; RSVP here) will take event-goers through the Napa Valley. Bohen explores everything from Pinot Noir to Sauvignon Blanc and beyond through seven regional wines and his vast knowledge of the area. The May class (Wednesday, May 6, 6:30 PM; RSVP here) turns its focus to sake, a close cousin of wine known for its similar complexities and versatile pairing options. Discover what defines sake—from different types of rice and polishing levels to sweetness profiles.
Classes are $25 each to attend and open to Related residents only. All classes take place at Community Wine & Spirits (140 10th Ave, New York, NY 10011).
Introducing the Related Life x Community Wine Club
Enjoy quality wine without leaving your home with the new Related Life Wine Club presented by Community Wine & Spirits. The club, open exclusively to New York City-based Related residents, is an easy way to introduce yourself to expertly curated wines from around the world. Expect two premium bottles, delivered to your door for $75 a month.
Members who sign up early receive an exclusive introductory offer that includes two Italesse wine glasses and 10% off Community Wine & Spirits online or in-store. Cancel anytime before the 14th of the month—cards are charged on the 15th, and wines will be delivered on the 25th.
