One of the secrets to having a stellar staycation is eating well. And so, if you take our advice and opt to stay in NYC this October, we think it's only fair we share with you the most exciting places in the city to eat right now. Le Club: A brand new restaurant from a protegé of the late Joël Robuchon, Le Club is located in the space formerly occupied by Le Grill, directly next to L'Atelier at 85 10th Avenue. According to Eater, this is Robuchon's "answer to Meatpacking District pre-party vibes," so expect a clubby (get it?) atmosphere, with velvet banquettes and bumping music.

queensyard Supper Club: The popular Hudson Yards eatery will be hosting a series of supper club dinners in October. Each one will centered around a specific theme; "No Waste" "British Game," "Dessert for Dinner," and – quite simply – "Truffle."

Palais by Perfect Pie

Palais by Perfect PieEat like a president. This new restaurant comes from former White House Executive Pastry Chef, Bill Yosses. Surprisingly, desserts are not the only category on the menu; instead, find French-inspired dishes like Snapper Provençale Barigoule and Coq Au Vin.

New York Pizza Festival, Pizza in New York, Best Pizza in New York

Pizza at the New York Pizza Festival

New York Pizza Festival: What's the best slice in New York? It's a question with no answer (except for from some people, who really, really, really believe they have an answer). If you're on quest to find your personal favorite, we recommend heading to the New York Pizza Festival in the Bronx, where the most renowned pizza makers in the United States and Italy will gather for two days (Oct 5-6) of making pies and arguing about what yeast to use in the dough.

Broken Coconut: The casual eatery just opened its newest location at Equinox in Hudson Yards, where they are serving up cocktails as well as healthier, more wellness-friendly meal options.
