Massilia opens at The Grand in DTLA

The Grand, located at 100 S Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles, welcomes Massilia, a new restaurant bringing the vibrant flavors and energy of Marseille to Grand Avenue.

Positioned across from the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Massilia features a lively patio and sidewalk dining, placing guests at the center of DTLA’s cultural scene. Designed as a versatile, all-day destination, the restaurant offers a dramatic oversized bar, expansive indoor dining areas, and a spacious private dining room, accommodating everything from morning coffee and long lunches to pre-concert dinners and late-night cocktails.

Provençal-Inspired Menu

Massilia's menu draws from Marseille’s rich culinary crossroads, where French traditions blend with Spanish, Italian, and North African influences. Highlights include:

• Pizza Program curated by Ines Glaser of Lupa Cotta

• Moitié Moitié: half four-cheese, half marinara with Cantabrian anchovies

• Lablabi and Niçoise Olives: layered with chickpeas, harissa, herbs, and goat cheese

The menu reflects Marseille’s port culture and its reputation for inventive, globally inspired cuisine.

Signature Drinks and Wine

Massilia features a full bar, an elevated craft cocktail program, and a curated wine list. Signature drinks include:

• Umami Martini with subtle savory anchovy notes

• Bourguignon Old Fashioned, finished with a short rib fat wash

As part of the Related Rentals portfolio, Massilia enhances The Grand’s dynamic environment, connecting residents and visitors with engaging culinary and cultural experiences in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
