Fall Harvest Festival 2025: Related Life Transforms NYC’s Abington House Into an Autumn Escape

On Saturday, October 4, from noon to 3 p.m., New York-based Related residents left the hustle and bustle of the city behind for a fun fall festival—without ever leaving Manhattan. Hundreds of guests gathered below the High Line, where The Courtyard at Abington House, an NYC-based Related property, transformed into Related Life’s annual Fall Harvest Festival, complete with a pumpkin patch, beer garden, seasonal activities, and delicious food and drinks.

Pumpkin Picking and Decorating, Kids’ Activities, and Festive Snacks

The standout pumpkin patch featured hay bales, corn stalks, and plenty of pumpkins for picking. It was also the perfect place for photo opportunities (alongside a festive step-and-repeat at the event’s entrance). Young guests took their chosen pumpkins over to a pumpkin-decorating station, well stocked by The Craft Studio with googly eyes, sparkle paints, markers, pipe cleaners, stickers, and spiderwebs. Children also enjoyed fun balloon creations from Melinda’s Children’s Parties, ranging from snakes and swords to dogs and flowers.

A nearby station with snacks from online grocery delivery company FreshDirect kept the kids (and adults!) fueled with juice boxes, mini waters, sour gummies, popcorn, and barrels of fresh apples.

Seasonal and City-Favorite Food Options

Additional food options were plentiful, with Sweetgreen featuring its popular fall salad bowls like the Autumn Harvest and Autumn Caesar. Eataly served up its margherita pizza alla pala and Bolognese pizza alla pala. Bilt, a program that transforms rent payments into rewards while offering members exclusive neighborhood benefits, provided matcha and coffee alongside baked goods like chocolate chip cookies and croissants. Guests snapped up apple cider and mini Doughnuttery donuts provided by Starry, which offers high-speed internet at an affordable price.

Meanwhile, the wait for No Good Burger Truck remained long throughout the event, as guests lined up for delicious burgers and fries. And the table for Dog City NYC, which offers dog daycare, grooming, boarding, and more, featured treats for the event’s furry friends.

The Beer Garden, Fall-Centric Sips, and Lively Music

Guests enjoyed their food of choice at the Beer Garden, which featured picnic tables shaded by the courtyard’s trees and the High Line above. Community Wine and Spirits provided beverages, such as red, white, or rosé wines, along with various fall-centric beers, to enjoy while mingling. Music from The WMDs rounded out the event, adding a soundtrack of crowd-pleasing rock classics from the Rolling Stones, Weezer, and Bob Marley to the perfect fall day. With music, laughter, and plenty of pumpkins, the annual Fall Harvest Festival once again brought together the Related community for an unforgettable autumn afternoon in the heart of New York City.
